Mel and Michael | Red River Gorge Wedding
I’m so excited to share photos from this amazing weekend! We’ve known Mel for a long time, and this weekend made it super clear that Michael is seriously perfect for her sweet, hilarious spirit. These two met through their mutual love of climbing, and they both love climbing at Red River Gorge… their wedding weekend did such a great job reflecting their love for this beautiful place.
Mel and her dad have the sweetest relationship. On the morning of her wedding day, Mel went running with her dad– isn’t that the sweetest?
This ceremony was one of those where I spent some solid time wiping tears away from behind the camera. Just look at the way these two look at eachother! There is so much love in these relationships, it was such an absolute joy to caputure.
We got some of the best fall colors on this October day! I love the way the treeline looks here!
I feel like these photos really capture who Mel and Michael are together. I asked them to walk ahead of me to get some walking photos– I gave them a little direction, “look at eachother, walk slowly back towards me, relax” and before I knew it they were literally sprinting, jumping, smiling wider than I’ve ever seen.
Red River Wedding Barn was such a gorgeous venue with so many great spaces!

We loved being a part of your day, and editing these photos was such a joy for me. The way you two look at eachother is just amazing, and is such a great reminder of what love looks like.
