Before COVID, before 2020, before backyard weddings were all the rage, Meghan and Dan were out here blazing the trail for the rest of us! These two set up in French Park for a sweet ceremony in the woods, and then headed to Meghan’s parent’s backyard for a lovely reception! 
Hands down, this is the most dramatic flower girl entrance we have ever seen. I’m obsessed with these photos. This was such a cool unity ceremony. Since Meghan and Dan met rock climbing, they literally tied the knot!

French Park Wedding Portraits
French Park is near and dear to us, it’s where we got married in 2011 and we have always loved hiking around the fields and woods of French Park! Because of this, taking Meghan and Dan’s wedding portraits in the woods was such a joy for us. These two have deep connections with nature and wanted their day to feel as natural as possible. Because of this, I think these portraits are perfect for them!
When you’re entire wedding guest list can fit into one frame, you make it happen! Since their wedding was so intimate, I love these photos of everyone who was able to be there in one crazy photo.
Reception Time!
And then, we were headed to Anderson for this amazing backyard reception! Fun fact, we’ve been lucky enough to know Meghan since high school. We all ran cross country together and her parents would host spaghetti dinners in their backyard. So, it was cool to be back in this same spot and see how much amazing work her parents did to make this event happen! Tin Man Grill was all set up with some PHENOMENAL tacos that had everyone talking. Like seriously, we still talk about how good these tacos were.

Some sweet speeches in the twilight, and then onto dancing in the moonlight!I love these photos of Meghan and Dan at the end of the night, dancing in the light of all their friends and family’s sparklers! These two are just so perfect for one another and such a joy to be around. We loved photographing their awesome day!
