Lauren and Aaron | Florida Destination Wedding
Blogging this wedding was nearly impossible. To choose between all of these gorgeous moments was seriously so difficult! Lauren and Aaron were married in Aaron’s hometown of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida–which is a pretty sweet hometown. Giant trees filled with Spanish moss, white sand beaches, and that hearty Florida greenery everywhere you look. Corey and I love Cincinnati with all our hearts– but hot dang, it’s nice to shoot somewhere just overflowing with sun and color.
First off… check out the video from their day. We LOVE doing destination photo and video, it’s such a fun way for Corey and I to work together somewhere new!
Lauren made her own cake. At a destination wedding. The girl brought all her stuff to make her own cake. And look at how beautiful!
After the beach, we headed over to Eden Gardens State Park for the ceremony and reception. This place was seriously so beautiful, we could hardly handle it! Just LOOK at those trees!
Eden Gardens State park is also home to the filming of this low budget horror movie from the 1970’s, called The Frogs— which Corey and I obviously promptly watched as soon as returning home.
Lauren and her dad walked down what is to date my favorite aisle ever.
Lauren and her family own this pretty amazing Cincinnati bakery called 3 Sweet Girls. So you’d better believe that dessert table was on POINT.
After a few lovely toasts, it was on to the party.
Lauren and Aaron– thank you so so much for trusting us to come to Florida and capture your insanely beautiful day. Even though I almost had a hernia over our flight delays and missing luggage, it was more than worth it, and I would do that 100 more times if it meant we could be a part of this day!
